Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Guadalupe County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may collect and process the query under its separate privacy policy.
Emails and Other Messages
If you email us or submit a contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share that correspondence outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Details Collected Automatically
Routine technical data may be recorded when a page loads. It helps the site function, reveals broad usage patterns, and supports problem diagnosis. This data can include:
- The internet protocol address used for the request

- Device category and operating system

Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Information Choices
Depending on the law that applies to a request and the data we actually hold, a person may:
- Ask for a copy of personal information held by us
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Ask that qualifying personal information be erased
- Object to or opt out of certain processing
These choices apply to information controlled by us. Requests about a sheriff, TDCJ, court, search partner, or advertising provider must be directed to that record holder.
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this Privacy Notice as services, legal requirements, or data practices change. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here with an updated effective date.
